Smart Phone Applications
Applications, wireless capability, and smart-device technology have changed the hearing aid user experience. There are several hearing aid applications available in the Google Play Store and the App Store that are compatible with Beltone hearing aids that make it easier than ever to manage your hearing aids.
This app links your Beltone hearing aids to Android or iPhone devices. HearMax works with Beltone Trust, Beltone Boost Max, and Beltone Amaze hearing aids. The app is free to download in the App Store or Google Play Store. The app has several ways of optimizing your listening. You can raise or lower the volume of your hearing aids from your phone without the need for another volume control device. Also, you have options like the Sound Enhancer and Speech Focus settings. Another great feature is that you can access Beltone support remotely by sending a request to your hearing care professional who can send updated settings. Then, you tap to access the update and have your new settings available when you need them.
HearPlus is an option for iPhone or Samsung Galaxy S5 users. It is a free app that lets you manage volume adjustment, hearing aid battery checks, setting changes, and hearing aid program changes, and finding lost hearing aids. You can even save settings for up to 15 locations, so your hearing aids will automatically adjust when the app recognizes your saved location. HearPlus is compatible with Beltone Legend, Beltone First, and Beltone Boost hearing aids.
If you use Beltone wireless enabled hearing aids, the SmartRemote application might be a good option for you. This app works with PhoneLink 2 to connect with iPhone and Android devices. You can adjust volume in each ear individually, optimize your listening experience on phone calls, and block out background noise.
Just like the name implies, the purpose of this app is to educate, support, and provide relief for those with tinnitus. This app works with Beltone Amaze, Beltone Trust, Beltone Legend, and Beltone Boost Plus hearing aids and is available for iPhone and Android devices. From providing information and coping tips, to the extensive sound selection, this app is aimed at easing symptoms and making life with tinnitus easier. Create soothing sound combinations, interact with relaxing exercises, or try the app's meditation and breathing practices.
Whether you're looking for tinnitus relief, clearer conversations, or a more discreet way to control the volume of your hearing aids, there are several applications that work with hearing aids to improve your listening experience.
